It sure is good to be back!

I have lots to tell and many pictures to share with you all. Our container made it across the Atlantic and we are finally unloaded and starting to settle in together as a family under one roof. What an incredible ride this is! The last couple of weeks have been crammed full with painting, unpacking, moving and sorting. We are exhausted but ready to get back to whatever "normal" looks like for our family of five. Actually it is five plus 2....we added 2 small turtles to our brood. We will see how long that lasts. :)

I snapped this shot during the 2 hours we had to unload our container from London. That's right....we only had two hours. We got it done in one and I managed to take some time to get some images of the ocassion. I am anxious to see what my blogger friends have been doing and thanks so much for all the encouraging words...

I have missed you all too!

Great comeback! I absolutely love sideview mirror pictures.

I had this great one thought up one time, and within the week I saw it on the front of section B in our local paper. Grr...

Yay, I have (yet another) reason to procrastinate and be online now! But oooh, I want to get a picture like this for my "auto as art" assignment... very cool!

Soooo happy to have you back Anna. Everybody under one roof makes all the headaches worth while. I can't believe you unpacked that container in one hour. You are a dynamo that's for sure.
Great mirror shot too.

Two hours? How generous of them! I didn't think anybody could find a way to make moving more of a nightmare, but it seems somebody did. Oh well, at least that part's over. Welcome back to the land of blog!

Glad to see you back and to know you got all your belongings OK (the first time I returned home from living abroad, the crates with my things went on an almost endless trip that took six months...).
Looking forward (no pun intended) to your pictures of your new surroundings!

Great to see you back! I have finally made it home too. Will post some more pictures when I get them all sorted and process.

Have missed seeing your work each day. I guess now that the summer is winding down we will have to get back in the habit of posting each day.

You guys either didn't have much on that container or you all are the fastest movers in the east!

Great picture. What a comeback!
