Daydreaming...

April 2007

What I'm Listening To: I've Got You by McFly

Hello all!

Before I forget, a few of you have asked me what exactly an aerobie is and I wanted to make sure to answer your questions. It is like a frisbee but it looks like a plastic, flat ring. It is much easier to throw than a frisbee and faster which is fun. Sometimes we do an obstacle course around trees and things for points. Very fun. The kids love it as well because of the ease of using it. I have never seen one in the UK but you can get them at any Target in America. :)

This image reminds me of daydreaming....hence, the title of my post today. As I shot this photo, I was wishing I had a blanket. I could just lay back, put my arms behind my head and watch the clouds float over my head, maybe drift off for a minute or two. That sounds so nice. I am going to have to go back and do that soon.

Have a wonderful day...

WOW.

When I enlarged this one my screen was border to border blossoms from the tree. They were glowing with that beautiful blue sky in between. I then slowly scrolled down to the steeple....wow!!!

Hi Anna,
This is a fantastic shot!!! I love the spring blooms, and the Carolina Blue sky (though it is not in Carolina) with the steeple framed by it all.

You got me daydreaming here with this shot. My hubby might have to go to India in a week or so, I might come for advice if this really happens!

this IS a dreamy photo...love the colors. i have iron and wine's "naked as we came" playing in the background and it fit with the mood of this picture- cool!

My dad know the guy who invented the aerobie! We got them for free while they were just limited production prototypes! I'm glad to see they're still around - they're a lot of fun!

I just love the contrast in this shot. And that has to be one of the bluest skies I've ever seen. I really like this one... even without the classic hard lines I'm so drawn to.

I love the blossoms on the tree. They remind me of the Bradford pear trees here. Now most of the blossoms have gone but when they were being pushed off by the pale green leaves you could sit beneath the tree and watch a "snowstorm" of white petals floating down with each puff of the breeze.

Now it is cold, or it was. I think it is actually a little warmer than it was all day.. rain... those April Showers expected.

thanks for visiting my blog Anna. yes I think we probably are experiencing many of the same feelings as we build homes in foreign countries.
I love this pic, especially the contrast, yet symmetry, between the blossom petals and the building's stones. Beautiful!
