Take a Seat

A Closer Look
April 2007

What I'm Listening To: Samson by Regina Spektor

So we are still in Newcastle, I am up off the floor finally as we are still waiting for the train (I promise, it's due to arrive any moment now and it is on time). My husband went for another Diet Coke and Sadie is lounging looking at the shots she has gotten on her own camera for her blog. And well, I am still curiously walking around seeing what I can uncover that may be interesting to me.

The top image is a close up of the seating at the station. I loved the vibrant color of the paint and the light reflections. Below is a shot of Sadie and just like the pics from yesterday, I had to wait for my moment to snap...eventually, it came.

Thanks for stopping by and visiting!

Coupla good ones. I like the abstact -ness and color of the first one. I just plain like the street photographer quality of the second one.

Anna- we look at these daily and hardly ever post, but want you to know that you do an awesome job with picking out the right details. You have always had a great decorating eye...now you have added a photo - eye.

We have just purchased a camara (Canon 30D) and I am sure my better half will have questions for you.

Hope everyone is good in the family. Go DUKE

I realy like the blue in the first photo.

Sadie has such a beauty. She makes me think of my oldest son. I recently went to his Facebook page and looked at a whole bunch of pictures of him that friends have taken while he is at school. He's not a boy anymore, he has become a handsome young man. When did this happen? Where was I?

By the way Anna, my photo is missing on my blog and comments when I view it. Are you able to see it?

These are great. I especially like the one of Sadie. Not just her, but the surroundings. I love the wall behind her.

Like me when I post my Pic of the Week (Fridays), you can't limit yourself to just one photo.

It's so hard to choose because they're our own and we cherish them all and hope that others feel the same way about them. Or, at the very least, appreciate them.

Two good ones here.

LOL Anna you are very adventurous and lucky to have such an understanding family. I can just see you. The self portrait yesterday is wonderful and love that you were sitting down to take it.

The picture of your daughter is wonderful, I like the soft focus.

I posted a few shots dedicated to you and Carmi in my blog today. They are something out of the norm for me but you two definitely inspired them.

Have a great day.

((((Hugs)))))

Nice picture of the seat, Anna. That shiny lack of texture is an interesting commentary on our consumeristic society. Pretty too!
