A Time to Bloom

A Fresh Look
March 2007

What I am Listening To: Beauty of Simplicity by Telecast

The old life is a grass life,
its beauty as short-lived as wildflowers;
Grass dries up, flowers droop,
God's Word goes on and on forever.
This is the Word that conceived the new life in you.
1 Peter 1:23 The Message

A new season. A new start.

Spring is here. I don't have to long for it or write about it coming anymore. I am not sure what it is about springtime that gives me a fresh outlook....maybe the warmth of the sun after months of brisk cold weather, the smell of cut grass, or the birds singing while the windows are open on a breezy day. I snapped this image in our neighborhood. I like the softness and colors.

As tonight slowly turns to Easter Sunday in our home, I am reminded of the new life that I have in Christ. I hope that you all have a very blessed day. Take time to enjoy the wonderful renewal of spring with your family and friends who are near and far from you.

Until tomorrow...

Hi, Your blog is gorgeous. Your photos are wonderful! I feel like a voyeur into someone's life or something like that!
I was reading back in your archieves about 'tagging' and was wondering if that was when you check who has been visiting your blog (like in the statistics?) and you see a website?
Sorry, Im very ignorant about the 'hows and whys' I just love to write my daily journal on my family! lol

Im just using my 'business' (which is not really a business, more a hobby I love!) website to write this comment, as it is with blogger. My blog is http://juzziebear.spaces.live.com/

Have a very Happy Easter! God Bless

Justine

I like the softness, too. It reminds me that beauty is just around the corner, and all we need to do is take the time to look more closely.

Alas, a late blast of winter has rendered our landscape wintry once more. Spring will have to wait, though our dog doesn't seem to mind. I see snow in a whole new light when he bounds through it with a puppy's glee.

I think that's my cue to pick up my camera once more.
