Wishing...

My iTunes: Let's Not Get Carried Away by Wilco

for the sun.

Ok, it is day 11 of rain here.

It's getting so hard when I look out the window and see the dark clouds day after day. When they do break every now and then, the sky is a brillant blue up there. It is beautiful. I am ready for the flowers to be out once again. The closest I could get was this lovely bloom at our neighborhood florist named Lilyma. It was huge and the colors are so amazing. I have posted about this quaint little shop before. The owner is always so kind, letting me wander around in her shop, take pictures and move things around as needed for my images. When I saw this bloom, I was yearning for the sun once again. I am desperately needing to see more of it. Soon hopefully...

Maybe tomorrow. :)

So, I guess London really is a "clowdy place" most of the time?

I'm glad you liked my "Bel Air" image.

Well, being that I live in Southern California...not sure I could take that many cloudy days...although we have the marine layer and it makes for cold and gloomy here too until it burns off mid day. Love the flower and teh trash bins!! I will pray for you to have some sunshine! Thanks for sharing.

I've always wanted to shoot in a flower shop - no wind! Beautiful colors!

A beautiful anthurium, Anna. That variety is my favorite color. I hope the sun comes back soon!

And we could do with lesser sun in these parts......guess, grass is always greener on the other side!!!!

This afternoon it rained here very hard, complete with thunder and lightning. During dinner we were counting the seconds between the flashes and the rumbles. Hope you get some good blue skies soon,

We actually need some rain here. Love this shot. What a sweet shop owner to let you browse and shoot!

I'm crossing my fingers for British sunshine.

It's a beautiful flower and I hate to bring the conversation down to my level here...but I'll admit I feel a little dirty looking at this picture. And with the caption "Wishing"...I confess that I was not expecting to hear about a desire for sun light. ;)

Hi Anna, came here from Moi's blog, looks like we have been both wishing for the same thing. Looks like it could be better soon.
Love the picture.
Cheers Mark
