Goodnight Moon

February 2008

W

His love endures forever.

The sun to govern the day,
His love endures forever.

The Message

*****

This was my attempt to get an image during the eclipse from last night. It really was cool to watch. Thanks Peg for calling me and inspiring me to get my tripod out!
It was worth a shot anyway.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. Breathtaking. I'm so jealous-we had serious clouds.

We, too, were "blessed" with cloud cover. All I could tell was that the ground was not as brightly illuminated as it was the night before. Then again, the night before was completely cloud-free, so I'm not sure I can blame the darkness solely on the eclipse.

Anna, I thank you for photographing it. We had too much cloud cover to see it.

What a wondrous sight. We had snow during the day, but it cleared up just in time. Timothy

I punted and went to bed early. Now I wish I had stayed up. What focal length were you using?

That's a lovely shot of the mood, gorgeous colours. It seems to be floating on your blog page exactly the same way it does in the sky!

Cool! I missed the eclipse... My friends who saw it said it was really neat.

I love how it seems to float on the black BG of your blog. Inspiring words...

Hi Anna:
Thanks for the visit. I really appreciate your photography. You do a very professional job with your camera. I laiked the way you tied in the scripture.

It looks even better in your photo than it did with the naked eye! Great job and thanks for standing out in the cold to get the perfect shot for us!

I love it, Anna. Good job.

We were able to watch up until the moon was 3/4 covered, and then it got cloudy. But within 30 minutes or so the clouds left and it was red and full like you show here. So we saw most of it anyway.

I need me one of Nikon's remote shutter release thingamajigs for my D70s. I blurred more shots than I got sharp but it was fun anyway. I ended up with some keepers.

A friend at work used a 500mm mirror reflex Nikkor his Dad had given him, on his brand-spanking-new D300 and got some killer shots himself.
