A Lesson For Two

What a fun day!

Sorry for the late post. I was having trouble loading image last night.

These shots are from Jack & Sam's first tennis lesson yesterday. I signed them up for group lessons but they were the only two to show up. They had so much fun and I have to credit Neko (the coach) for her amazing skills with young kids. She did several drills and games that had them running all over the court with smiles from ear to ear for the entire hour. It was pretty crazy to watch an 8 and 9 year old serve across court and it was in the box. She said I have a couple of naturals! The temperature was incredibly cold outside so Sadie and I watched from underneath a blanket, only coming out from under it to catch a couple of pictures (well, more than a few).

I am selfishly hoping to train up another couple of players so we can play together on family vacations! I also think tennis is a great sport to enjoy your whole life.

Have a great day!

Wonderful pics of the boys, Anna. Tennis was always too much work for me. I am more the badminton type.....LOL

Fun! Glad the boys enjoyed their lesson :-) Any chance of Sadie getting on the court soon?

It's always great to see more kids enjoying athletic activities, particularly those that do not involve trying to smash somebody's body (although rushing the net can get you beaned pretty good!).

I found the effect on the top shot distracting, I think because of the ghosting of the lines. Or were they faded on the court?

The pictures of your boys are wonderful. However I'm crazy about the first pic...a wonderful composition. Did you place the balls or were they just there? Any way...I LOVE IT!!!

Terrific shots and the boys look like they are having a ball. Nothing like having an accidental private lesson. Lucky boys.

I love the composition and simplicity of the top photo. The "Annatized" softness works well here too.
