A Lunch Date

My iTunes: Shadow of the Day by Linkin Park

After seeing my husband for a total of 4 days in the past month, he is finally home for awhile. He took the day off today and we hung out with the kids at school....just the two of us. It was well deserved and appreciated time together. I loved laughing with him and sharing about things going here while he was away. Since he has been the one on the Indian food diet....it was his choice where to go for lunch. He chose his favorite place, Chipotle. Do you have one in your part of the world? It was very good. They have the best gaucamole I have ever eaten and they serve margaritas...what's not to like?

I am a huge fan of the design of this restaurant chain. They used recycled and simple materials and keep overhead low with not a lot of fancy stuff. The result is a clean and very urban feel to the place. It's pretty cool that there are no two locations that are the same.

I had been wanting to get this image above and took my camera today....it is the lines. I am a sucker for them. :) Have a good day everyone!

They opened one nearby and after trying it once I am not a big fan :(But I did like their guac. I guess I have been spoiled by Green Cactus. I can't get enough of that place. I want to try Moe's next. I hear they serve a mean burrito.

Chipotle is one of our favorite places to eat. I like to get the chicken bowl, because the burrito is just too unwieldy.

Oh, wait, this is about a photograph. Very nice, and look at the reflection off the floor.

Soooo glad you had time with your Hubby after his being away. Any place is special but its always better when the food is good.
We have a Chipotle near us but we haven't been there yet. The area we now live in has so many restaurants that its taking us a while to make the rounds.
Love your "ANNA" shot. I love the lines too.

Your mom and I went to Tres Magueyes yesterday and afterward I drove down Falls of the Neuse and passed the new Chipotle. I wondered at the time if she and I should try it next; although the chimichangas at Tres M. are to die for!! (plus we don't eat guacamole anymore)....LOL

Mexican food is a rage back in Florida) but here in the part of Illinois I am at, I am not so sure I have seen one around............and yes neat lines there!!! I am sorry Anna that I havent been a regular visitor here..the new job and new home takes up all my time these days ...hopefully soon i'll learn how to manage time better!!! any pointers there??? :DDD
