It looks like a stack of charger plates.
Anna, thanks for the visit. We didn't eat the guacamole, although I remember you saying it was good. Next time, I will try a small amount. I like it - but it doesn't like me....LOL
I was thinking a stack of plates...Pewter or aluminium?
all my mind can think of is bangles!!!! :)
I don't think that's what they are, but they remind me of the "disks" used in our old cream separator (they were actually cones, with a bit of a lip at the bottom edge). I don't know what they were actually called.

Pizza trays from some cool pizza joint.

I take back my first guess. Looks like pizza pans or some other sort of metal plates.
