My iTunes: Nine In The Afternoon by Panic at the Disco
Sorry about the no post Saturday!!!! We had a power outage so I wasn't able to get internet. Tonight was a ton of fun. My sister-in-law had her birthday celebration tonight with girlfriends and I was invited to come along! I introduced her to the Lemon Drop...see above image. I am SUCH a bad influence!!! We had a great time at The Cheesecake Factory and it was fun telling stories and hanging out for a couple of hours. We all agreed that our 22 year old waiter thought I was crazy for taking this picture....I am sure he was thinking "those poor girls haven't been out in awhile!"
So true. We need to go out more often.
I am off to bed now. Night. Have a good start to your week everyone!

Funny shot and yes, I am sure the waiter was amused! But the truth be known you guys were probably mild compared to some of the things he gets.
Looks tasty and refreshing to me.
Fun story. Sounds like it was a good time. Happy birthday to your sister in law.
We went to the Cheesecake Factory tonight too! Only no lemondrops for us. Only iced tea. Anything more and I would have crashed right there in our booth. I brought my camera too...but didn't use it. Nice capture and I'm glad you had a good time.
I waited tables during my last two college years, so I'm sure if you keep doing this enough, eventually at least one of your servers will understand.
I might like a lemon drop -- I tend to like the fruity drinks.
MmMmmm...all I can say :) It's so great to find beauty and interest in the simple things. Some people are in constant search of that and most of the time it's right under their noses! I'm glad you had a good time out :)
Love it (the picture and the drink) :)
Nice shot! I like the light on the rim, the shadow behind the glass, and the general composition. Great way to accent the colorful twist of lemon. :)
Yummy. And I LOVE nine in the afternoon!!
Too fun! Oh my, someday (SOMEDAY!) we'll have our margaritas and hot chocolates (etc) together. I know it.
Hello Anna. I stumbled over here from Paul's Hip Blog. I love your images and the unique perspective you take on them. I posted some red and green pictures on my One Square Mile. You have really got me looking for the colors around me. I needed some new inspiration for my photography.
I would also like to confess that once upon a time when I was out with my sisters, we had such a handsome waiter, my sister sneakily took a picture of him. Your martini photo seems a lot more respectful!
am sure a few of those would give a very sore head come morning!
Love the Cheesecake Factory. I'm so glad you had a great time with family and friends. We all need to let our hair down now and then.
Great shot as usual.
So good! (I didn't really just say that did I?!) Anyway... It's a great shot i mean... picture! *sigh* Let me stop. I'm writing this to you from a coffee shop in the Outer Banks. We're here until Saturday. Miss you!
I always feel funny taking pics of food and things like drinks in public!
Lovely shot....what kind of martini is that?
