What I'm Listening To: The Hardest Part by Coldplay
(I have been on a Coldplay kick for a few days!)

First, I have to apologize...

I am not having the time to blog like I want so I haven't been able to visit many of the daily sites that I enjoy so much...you all know who you are! :) I have been a bit busy with my better half in India and taking care of our high maintenance offspring! It may a be a few days before I get a chance to do a lot of commmenting but thanks to all of you who I know are thinking of me and praying for us here. I have a feeling you all understand. So thanks!

I snapped these images at The Doll's House. I have written about them here and here. Today it was official...they have been interested in some of my pics for awhile and today we became business associates as well as friends. I am very excited. I just wanted to to share a couple of pics with you. When my pics go up on their website, I will be placing a link to the right so you can go see the pics! You all have been so great about encouraging me and giving advice through email and comments!

Thanks!

Come on In...

I was wondering when we would hear more about your taking photos for the cafe - I can't forget the pic of their amazing hot chocolate drink. I hope this really is a success for you.

Well, no surprises here. they were really right in hiring you! congrats! That picture of the shop is amazing with the soft light and sunshine coming in. To me, that pic seems to capture the 'aura' of the dollhouse really well. they are getting a great portrayal of their shop inviting folks to come by. if I saw that picture i would want to come (and wouldn't be disappointed) well done! =) 'night!

Hey, that is such cool news, Anna! Not surprising, of course, but cool all the same.

The more I see of your work, the more I see a soft-focus trademark establishing itself. It colors everything you do, and it makes your images immediately recognizable as yours and yours alone. It also makes them memorable.

i can't wait to see the website link when they are posted.....this place looks absolutely marvelous!!!! is this, by chance, the same place motherskylark had a gwennyth paltrow sighting?

Carmi is right Anna. There is definitely a feel to your work. I believe I could pick it out of a crowd.

Congrats on the new business relationship!

If you were here in the states I would try to hook you up a friend of mine who owns a personalized stationary company. She and her partner could realy use that "touch" of yours for their product photographs.

It almost looks like blood droplets on the apricot chutney . . . it isn't . . . right?

haha, just kidding!

I completely understand priorities. Believe it or not, there are more important people in the world than us bloggers, hahaha.

Congratulations! I knew it would happen soon.

Also no need to apologize for being busy, I am sure you have your hands full right now. Just enjoy your time, I know you will be glad when John gets back.

These are so warm and inviting. Customers are going to flock to their store. And those goodies behind the counter... (groan) the calories waiting to be had. It is a good thing I am not there right now.

I really like the interior shot. You did a nice job of balancing the lighting. I'll be looking forward to seeing their website with your photos on it!

My Dad used to love orange chutney, but I never cared for it too much.
