My iTunes: Nine In The Afternoon by Panic at the Disco
My regular blog readers know that I have an affinity for looking up and taking pictures. Another blogger friend Joel had done a post I had liked a while back. Please check out his blog. Once you visit you will be a regular like I am. He normally posts once a week or so. Anyhow, this image is in response to his post titled FLAT ON MY BACK. I had this post in mind when I laid down in the sand just before sunset in Maui. It came just how I wanted.
I am missing my vacation as I look at this image.
Happy Birthday to my good friend timtim...
See you soon in Atlanta! Please check out his blog as well!

I have a full album of these shots. There is something very peaceful about them, isn't there?
sweetness! i lvoe palm trees.
thanks for doing that, lol. i was gonna do it, after u'd read it. but yeah, i'd love for u to stop by somtime and visit. ^^ thanks and stuff. :D and i love ur blog. so creative! taking on a photo a day chalenge! idk if i could do that, lol.
These pictures are making me long to go back. Julianne just happened to say the other day, "I'd like to go back to Hawaii." My head is in overdrive now. Lily turns 2 in August so she can still fly for free. Some big changes at work (I'll blog about it later) have opened up a bigger window of opportunity to make this a possibility rather than just a dream.
HAHA! Very cool, Anna! I'm flattered.
You got a great shot there - sort of transports you back, doesn't it?
Sounds like you had a great time there.
Talk to you soon.
Joel
I was looking up at the trees in my backyard yesterday, and I thought of you.
How glorious. I love the surreal look to this.
That's fantastic!
Anna: You have surprised me once more. Very nicely done today.
I've always loved straight-up shots through trees. They allow us to stare at an angle that normally would cause neck pain (unless, of course, one is lying down face-up).
there you go....looking up again :)
Hey Anna, love this picture!
Thank you for the shout out and the birthday wishes. Had a nice dinner at my favorite local restaurant. Joel's blog is great! Both of your flat on you back shots are very cool. You should have told me you were going to mention me - I would have changed it from my polka dotted daisy! Maybe I'll do that now... Atlanta - 41 days away.
I can feel the tropical breezes and the warm sand on my toes when I look at this "Anna" photo. Beautiful as always.
Love it! I'd love to take a nap under those trees... It was great to talk to you today! We'll have to do it after you guys get back from vacation. Make sure you post pictures somewhere (be it on blogger or facebook) of Sadie's new hair color!
