My iTunes: Just for Now by Imogen Heap
Breathtaking.
There is no other word to describe a Hawaiian sunset. John and I have traveled all over the world and I just have never seen anything to rival it. Tracey and I made a point to see sunrises and sunsets while we were there and I am so glad we did. We did comment about the sunset that night being incredibly long...it took over an hour for the sun to completely set. It was worth every second we sat there. The image below is when I was walking on the beach that same night...I always look up but at that moment...I looked behind me. Cool shot I think.
Tomorrow? The last sunrise I saw on my trip. Hope you all are doing well!

Anna I really like the sunset and sand shots...but I LOVE the flag header pic!!!
Anna - you have amazing talent - these are too awesome for words!
You captured that sunset extremely well!
I love footprint pictures!
You are right about the Hawaiian sunsets. I have many polaroid shots from the first time we were there, in 1984, but the color didn't hold up. They are magnificent, as you saw in person.
When we were in Kauai, in 2001, we were on the eastern side of the island, and I never saw the sun set over the ocean there (which was too bad!)
You are killing me here! Are you secretly working for a Hawaiian tourism/travel agency? Cause it's working. Where do I sign? I'm ready to go. These images truly are breathtaking. I love sunset pictures. You captured it perfectly. And the footprints? WOW. Simply great, Anna.
The exposure on the sunset shot is just perfect. This photo might benefit from not being split almost precisely in half. Just a lovely scene, though, and you didn't blow out any of the highlights.
Glad to see the Imogen Heap in your playlist again.
OMW that photo is just incredible!
It really is a breathtaking sunset !
I was never in Hawai but the sunsets I saw in Egypt were also more than beautiful !
it's not so much the sunset for me anna, its the sand in the forefront of your shot - it's so good you could eat it! well, perhaps not
it's all in the sand this one - stunning and gifted eyes to see that!!!
I'm so glad you looked behind you - the footprints are stunning.
and the sunset ... Oh My!
Your pictures are just so beautiful!!
Wow -- I want to see a Hawaiian sunset now!
I opened your blog and thought, "Wow, that sunset is golden like ours." Then I saw that it was indeed a Hawaiian sunset. Gorgeous, aren't they? I have never managed to capture a golden one quite so well.
Another WOW Anna!!! Reminds us of the sailing days when we'd see such beautiful sunsets in the BVI's. Thanks for the memories! Love you...
sunsets are so prettyy! this one is breathtaking! i LOVE it! <3
Wow, Anna... what more can I say? the sunset is scrumcious and I absolutely love the footprints.
Stunning. We were in Hawaii for our Honeymoon and watched many of those magical sunsets. I swore that it was just our romantic imaginations but I see now that I was wrong! WE ARE MOVING TO THE BEACH! I can only hope to see some good sunrises on the sand.
Fabulous pics Anna..what a beautiful sunset..definitely worth the wait and the footprints in the sand are brilliant :)
