Looking Up, Back, and Under.

Flower View
June 2008

My iTunes: No Air by Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown

Short post tonight...almost non-existent....except for the photo. I have a long night ahead of me and a big day tomorrow. I have cleaning to do and I am on a roll....so I will get back to it.

Isn't this shot lovely though? I love flowers from the back...let's face it...the petals get ALL the glory....

Enjoy it!

This one is great. Nice job of getting down there to give us such a rare perspective.

I guess I finally will have to pull out my backlit dogwood petals picture.

"Lovely" is the perfect word to describe. I love the color of the sky as the backdrop and how the light comes through some of the petals.

It *is* lovely. To abandon the inside center color of the daisy is bold and daring. And in this case, well worth the risk. There is plenty of color here to keep the interest high. And that angle is fast becoming one of my favorite approaches for flowers.

I feel honored that you took a break from your cleaning to leave a comment on my blog. I'm curious what the "big day tomorrow" is all about.

I really like everything about this picture. the white against the blue the backlighting and the under and back shot. Good stuff as always Anna.
Hope you get all that work done. Rest well.

I like this one too, Anna, and you're right, the petals get all the glory. The backs of flowers have their charms, too. Miss you.

I love this shot!!!! The sky behind the flower is just so summer-ish. I got a new cell number... I'll call you soon. I want to hear about the trip!

I love this photo, thanks. I like flower back shots, too. They're not done often enough.

This is beautiful Anna, good to see blue skies when all is gray here down the Equator. Oh, this would make a nice project: Looking up! :-)

Oh, this is nice. Rick Lee did a post similar to this not too long ago, too... I love them both!

Like an umbrella of the cartoons, with the animated insects protecting them from the sun. I think your shot is lovely and unusual.

As well as criminal hackers, many activists are turning to the web to make protests more visible.

It was thus that he spoke of the object of my visit. His earnest desire to see me, and of the solace he expected me to afford him. He entered, at some length, into what he conceived to be the nature of his malady. It was, he said, and one for which he despaired to find a remedy--a mere nervous affection, he immediately added, which would undoubtedly soon pass off.
