Project Blue. Take Nine.

Finding Our Way
June 2008

My iTunes: Linger by The Cranberries

OK, so I was supposed to be somewhere else today so I don't have the picture I was intending. Our plans changed which is fine....it is after all, vacation! I snapped this as we were driving...actually, I made my husband find a place to stop so I could get out and take the picture. I love blue and yellow together so I was thrilled to see this sign.

Hope you all are well. The final Project Blue for me is tomorrow and I will be ready to move on to some of my regular daily blogging. I will let you all know tomorrow when my next Project will be but I will not be announcing the color!

Have a great week everyone!

The color of the sign and the sky are the same :-) Great shot... as always!

I love that the sign and the sky are almost the same color. Great catch. Great hubby, too -- sometimes my OC stops, but mostly he just looks at me like I'm nuts and keeps driving. He makes irrelevant objections like, "This is a bleepity-bleep freeway! You can't get out of the car here!" And, "Sure, I'll just pull off the side of the cliff here and park the car right there in the air."

I love yellow and blue together too. I think it's rare to find that in a sign. Great photo! Love the angle!!

Anna, how great that you could get the sign and sky to be the same tone. Great shot and I know each day of this trip is so special.
I have loved project Blue and have just posted my final Blue too.

so where does highway 253 take one?

ps, you would sometimes think that blue and yellow were actually complimentary colours they go so well...

No I wasn't following you around. But I also love blue and yellow. So much that I'll be posting a blue and yellow picture right after I post this comment. I shot it yesterday so I already had it planned. Honest! Your blue and yellow is great. And as always, I love the angle. But I am sorry I'm not seeing what I expected to see here today. I trust it's coming though.

I can't help feeling a little blue that blue is over tomorrow. Not that you're taking requests, but my wife is REALLY hoping that purple is next on your list.

I like that blue on the sky blue. The yellow along with it definitely is nice. I always have liked that combination.

Glad you're still having a great time on the trip, even when the plan changes. That's one of the joys of such a family outing.

Hi Anna! So sorry I missed your Project Blue. It sounds like fun. I am originally from Durango, and your posts made me a bit homesick! I'm looking forward to hooking up on your next project.

In the meantime, check out our new project - improgging (blog + improv = improg).

have a great day!

Good for you for rollin' with the punches! A flexible spirit helps when plans re-order themselves :).

Engaging to me how well your blues compliment one another. The bit of yellow makes them "pop" and brings cheer to what could be just a picture of a sign...which it hardly is!

I remembered why I was hoping you'd choose blue for our next color project--so I posted a second photo for today. Again, my "good" camera's on the blitz, so I shot it with an ailing point and shoot, but still...you can at least tell why I was hopin'.

:) Thanks for a fun week, Anna! By the looks of that Mr. Linky (in spite of you asking us to link once--oops!) TONS of people enjoyed it!

Happy colors and a fun angle. Once you pass this sign, does your car take off and drive straight up into the sky? Looks like it should. :)

I love how the sky and the sign are the same color and the yellow numbers and letters seem to float in the vast expanse of blue! Wonderful!
