Public Footpath #75

John and I started running together a week ago. We are trying to get into shape and spend some much needed time together. So far, so good. However, we couldn't have picked a worse time...our home is situated on the top of a very large hill. No matter which way we go...the run is going to hurt! I am NOT exaggerating! I snapped this pic tonight during my "cool down"... there are old cobblestone footpaths like this one all around our neighborhood that just add to the quaintness and village feel. It seems like a storybook most days. I was a click away from sending you a picture of me passed out on the pavement taken by my better half...but no one needs a picture like that in circulation...especially me.

Anna, this is a really cool idea, and you are doing a great job of execution! You definitely have an eye for capturing interesting aspects of your daily life and making them real to us back home. I probably won't be checking in as frequently as your mom, (Hi, Alice!) but it's a great way to stay in touch. Keep up the great work!

Anna, the area looks to be quaint, as I imagine most of England to be. Running? I try never to do that - but I hope you and John achieve your goals and enjoy your time together.

Running, hmmmmmmmmm, running there, hmmmmmmmm. Good for you guys. It is so nice to see the neighborhood. I am going to run now too to get Amelia LOL, I don't think it compares but a girl can try right!

Love,
Stephanie

I am grateful to your Mom for sharing this site with us. This picture is the background now on my computer! I feel relaxed just looking at it! We really enjoyed getting to spend time with Sadie this summer. She is such a joy!
