A Birds View...

The Perfect Spot

My iTunes: Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol

Hey friends...

WOW...things have been crazy since I have been traveling quite a bit. Sometimes my internet connections are good, sometimes not. I am glad to be able to post tonight. I am having some serious blogging withdraw and have really appreciated all your comments despite all the days of quiet over here on my site. :)

As for my pic above...I like the simplicity of it. That is why I am posting all by itself. I took this in Italy while we rode in a water taxi from the little island of Murano back to Venice. This bird perched high up looked very intent on watching all the goings-on in all the lanes of water traffic. And as I clicked through my photos of this trip this one stood out as one of my favorites. I hope that you all are fond of it too!

Have a good Wednesday!

I wish I could get into his brain and see all the things he has seen from that perch!

Are you settled back in yet? All that travel make a body tired!!

I very much like this shot. It's starkly simple...but has plenty going on to keep yoru mind busy.

Hope things settle down soon...but not so much as to be boring.

I like it....although the bird seems kinda lonely. Well we're now on the same side of the ocean. That doesn't make me miss you guys any less though!!!!!

great photo, I love it. Was any color correction done to this? The brown hue all over is just perfect. Was it taken in a desert area?

diet coke is my favorite too!

Ginger Beer was just this impulse buy that ended up being pretty unique and fun, which is probably why I liked it. I think if it was served to me everyday I might not like it as much.

As for Margaritas . . .

by the way, I love this picture. It was has a very vintage quality to it.

you have the prettiest pictures and the best profile description that i have ever read. There is nothing amateurish about your pictures than the fact that you probably don't get paid for taking them! I am subscribing to you on my rss reader.

This is one of my favorite as well, Anna. Somehow, the relationship of the lonely bird with the planet-like sphere speaks to me. I like how you strip a scene down to its basics through exceptional composition....it really gets the mind involved in the image.

Safe travels!
