Blogging Uninterrupted

The Perfect Shade
May 2008

My iTunes: Upside Down by Jack Johnson

Greetings everyone!

I am so glad to be back to blogging! Thanks to my "wonderfully, amazing" big sis for posting for me to let you all know about my lack of internet access. :)

It seems as though while I was away in Hawaii, I found a lot of things are perfect. Today's post is of the perfect shade. If anyone of you has been to Maui then you may have gone to Mama's Fish House. It is an island MUST and I got tons of great images there. The Mahi Mahi was incredible and the view is breathtaking. The palm trees on the beach provide the wonderful shadows of the palm branches on the sand. The image below shows you all the shadows and the beach. You can't help but breathe in deep and sigh when you look around.

Enjoy the view and I will see you tomorrow!

Anna,
I'm soooooo glad you made it to Mama's Fish House. If you recall I told you that you just HAD to go there when I heard you were going to Maui. And I gotta ask, was it the macadamia nut encrusted mahi mahi? I had that my first time there. It was the best ever.

Your pictures here are lovely. A big welcome back to you!

OMG~! Macadamia nut mahi-mahi is the best food ever! I had it first on the Big Island, and it was to die for. That was 26 years ago, and I still remember the taste!!

Welcome back, Anna. I can't wait to see the rest of your photos! The beach pix make me want to go back there and never return!

Wait...you've already begun with these shots--if I had been where you were, I wouldn't have wanted to leave.

(Welcome home!!)

What a great post Ann! As you already knew it went right to hearts of Mom and me . . . some of the fondest memories we share together. Maybe we can join KENJU when she goes back and never return.

Welcome home.

Welcome back, Anna. I am glad you enjoyed your visit in paradise. It has been pouring rain here on Oahu for the last two days. A fog has come in from the ocean and we can see more than a few yards in any direction. It is like living in a rain cloud.
