My iTunes: And You Give by Matthew Barber

Hi everyone! I am finally ready to share some images of my first wedding shoot. I had such a fun time with everyone and came away very pleased with the shots I managed to capture. The wedding was small, intimate and casual...which fits me to a tee. And I have to say, I had a perfect backdrop!

I hope you enjoy these!

The Ring and the Dress

Yeah!!! I was waiting up for you! I LOVE the first and the seventh the most. Beautifully done! YOU DID IT! You are OFFICIALLY a wedding photographer! Can you come retake our wedding photos? Better yet, can I second shoot for you sometime?!

Anna. This is great work. No, Really. This is GREAT work. I love the variety here. The vignetting is subtle but makes a statement. The color is sharp and captivating. The emotion brought forth from these images captures the event beautifully. I'm so very impressed. Congratulations on a job extremely well done. You should have the couple write a reflection and reference for you and post it on your pro-site.

I like the way you captured the personality of the islands as well as the romance of the wedding. Very nicely done.

I also like the non-traditional shots. They personalize the photo session, and if there's anything a wedding ought to be, I think personal is high on the list!

stunning shots anna, particularly think the black and white ones hold a timeless quality....

Mmm, nice new header -- quite appropriate for Memorial Day!

I would love to call you... one slight problem, though... I don't have your number. I'm sending you an email with my cell number, though = )

Thanks for letting me know you added more. You are inspiring me. A while back a guy at church told me he does weddings and offered to let me go along some time. I'm going to email him and see if the offer is still open. If I can get something half as good as you got here I'd consider it a success. And by the way, I love love love the new header. :)

Wow! You did a fabulous job! They look so soft and romantic! Perfect for the island setting. And I love the shot of the cake! Well... I'm a big fan of cake! :) I know the couple was WELL pleased with these photographs! Wish you'd been photographing MY blue jean wedding - um... 21 years ago... you were probably dunking graham crackers in milk, huh?

The soft B&W shots make it look truly otherwordly.

They look very happy in every photo, and seeing those photos on their walls all the time can only remind them of what's inside, even when times are tough.

I bet they are so happy with these. You have managed to capture the true spirit of the wedding...the little details like the feet on the beach, that bracelet, the leis. I love from the back shots...makes you wonder where their path will lead them.

Those are great. I'm sure they're very happy with their wedding photos.

And, getting married in a Hawaiian shirt looks like the way to go. Much more comfortable than a tux.

Anna, these are GREAT! Really, really super.

Question: am I missing something, or was the "shell favor" misprinted? (The wedding was this May, not May of 2007, right?)

So confused... :/ But that photo is GREAT, too. Seriously.
