My iTunes: Free Fallin' (Live) by John Mayer

This is going to be short....again! I am so sorry, I am exhausted and need a good nights rest! Anyone who knows me, knows I love feet. I take them at almost every shoot. This shot was taken at my photo shoot the other day. I love the band-aid. Doesn't that say everything about being boy? About being a kid? Most moms would want me to Photoshop those out...but not this one! I love that. It was very cool.

Hope you all are having a great week!

Yay - first to post :)

I love the bandaid, too -- it adds so much character to the shot. I kid without a bandaid would almost seem out of place...

Get some good rest!

The Band-Aid adds character. Maybe if Aunt Mabel prefers one without the Band-Aid, she could pay extra for her print.

Enjoy your rest :-) I had my day off for the week today... it was really nice to wake up at 11 and go "Ah I'm not at work right now!" Back to the ol' pool tomorrow though. Tell everyone I said hi! I'll try to give you a call soon. Facebook me or email me and tell me what the next week or so is looking like for you guys so I can try to catch you at a good time.

Ya the band aid is cool but c'mon...the grain in this picture is incredible. The black and white with the grain make it timeless. Whether it's a day old or 50 years old it conveys a time of youth. Either in the present or thinking back. Bravo.

I like this shot. I especially like the Band-Aid. He didn't get that from sitting in front of a game console! I wasn't sure childhood and Band-Aids were still synonymous. I am glad to hear they are.

BTW, Band-Aid is a brand name and needs to be capitalized. (Okay, I got the teacher stuff out of my system ...)

A barefoot boy in the summer, it just doesn't get much better than that.
I have always loved b&w as well. Very nicely done.

Anna,

Maybe innately I "knew" this about you, maybe it's why I'm so drawn to your photography (you capture what I imagine).

See? I'm a "foot person", too...but only in the "best" of ways. Here's a family portrait I took at the beach a while back--it’s obvious I like feet, too!

Hmmm, maybe it's time for a new one :) (wonder how much we've changed!).

The band-aid is good! But I love the little piece of grass stuck to his big toe! :)

Hey! It's JULY! What color is next???

So, I have exciting news -- I have my first "official" photoshoot set up! It'll be a real estate shoot for a friend who is moving. Do you have any tips you could share? :)

barefoot in the summer, little children playing with ease

the photo conveys it all

I'd keep the band-aid too!
