My iTunes: For the Moments I Feel Faint by Relient K

Evening all. This was going to be another lame attempt at a Wordless Wednesday but I look at my clock and it is 12:03 am London time....well, it's still Wednesday somewhere in the world right?!?!

There's a lot of big changes happening in the life of my family right now. These changes aren't bad ones just emotionally draining. As much and as long as I have yearned to be settled in one place, God hasn't settled us just yet. Maybe He will soon. I will wait, although not as patiently as I should, but I am sure He already knows that about me. :)

I snapped this on a walk on the Hill. Very serene. Very hopeful.
The original shot is below for those of who said you who wanted to see it when you commented.

So much for wordless...

Take care everyone.

Can't wait to see the original. The cross looks like it's inches from that background, judging from the shadow. Hmmm...

It looks like a graphic design. I'm having a hard time seing thsi a s an atual photograph. I believe you...I just have a hard time seeing it. Looking forward to the original.

Also, I wish you all the strength you need to get through your emotionally draining changes. May they be changes for the better.

The original is up! :) I promise it was a real sky taken at about 8pm or so. I just loved the colors of the sepia when I was messing around with it later but that blue is pretty too!

Thanks Paul...that second does look black and white but it is actually a navy blue. I like it too!

Very unusual shot. I like it though. It seems almost 2 dimensional. Not sure how to describe it.

May the wind be at your back. Times can get trying at times but sit back and enjoy them. Some day you and John will look back and laugh at some of the things that were emotionally draining today.

They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. Leaning on Him and having patience are sometimes the hardest things to do. I love the way you share your life wih us.
Nice picture and focus.

Even the original looks more like a prepared graphic than a real photograph. Pretty impressive work, Anna.

anna...i'm with ya, girl. especially with young children, it's nice to put down roots somewhere and feel "nested" and settled. i will pray for you during this transition time. and rememeber, i have some diet cokes waiting! :)

I love the composition--so simple yet it makes a strong statement. Maybe this will be your final move. And I also think it would be wonderful to go shooting together!

Beautiful. I tend to like the top one best, the orangey, sepia-like-ness is more appealing to me.

Simple and powerful.
