Wall in Murano

My iTunes: Nolita Fairytale by Vanessa Carlton
My internet is come and go right now so my posting & commenting may be scarce for a few days. I was however, able to get on tonight and put up a few images that I took in Murano, Italy. Murano is famous for its glass. Blowing glass is such an interesting craft. We weren't able to see anyone actually doing it the day we went but I thoroughly enjoyed hitting the galleries and looking at all the pieces. Just beautiful!
Enjoy these shots and have a wonderful week! Hopefully I will be able to post again tomorrow night.

I like the top and bottom photos very much. Both are simple, colorful graphic images. I guess I like the simple shapes and colors.
So glad to see you back! Wonderful colorful photos. I love Murano glass!
For someone who loves to display black and white photos, you certainly know how to do color, too.
The serene beauty in these makes me want to look again and again.
That top picture makes me think of some ancient book. The textures are interesting because they seem to shift as I look at them. Very cool.
If you have Discovery Channel, you can most likely see glass blowing sometime in there! They have everything on the discovery channel haha. Have a good one!
i ADORE that chandelier....i love colored glass and the reflections it makes.
your in my thoughts.....
Love the boat one, Anna.
I check here almost every day, but do not comment every time. So..I'm here! reading!
Wonderful. The first one is my favourite. Simpe yet very powerful. Well done!
Wall in Murano....YES!
I remember when I was little I went on a field trip to see someone blow glass. It is truely an amazing craft. Thanks for posting.
Wow, I'm lucky here in Washington state we have a couple of reknowned glass blowers here that I have seen a number of times. The one is Dale Chehuley whose name I probably spelled wrong and the other one is from Vancouver and his name escapes me but he does a lot of fish. They are cool.
But to see the masters in Italy with their classic styles would be a real treat.
Very nice pics! A joy to look at.
This is beautiful, the colors, the framing, all of it.
