WELCOME TO MY PHOTO-A-DAY BLOG...A PROJECT TO TAKE ONE PHOTOGRAPH EVERY DAY TO SEE MY ENVIRONMENT CREATIVELY AND FIND WAYS TO CAPTURE AND SHARE MY EXPERIENCES WITH OTHERS
I promised some color shots....so here they are. Bottom line...that day was a beautiful. You can tell by just a few of the pics. Click to enlarge them if you wish. As I am going through these I am missing it so much!
Watch out! It's the rare and dangerous spitting gull. Just when you think it's okay to take another slanted picture, he comes along and whips that string of spit on you.
In all the years I've known your parents, I don't think your dad has made me a margarita. They are my very favorite drink, so I think I'll ask him to remedy that! And soon! I could really use one tonight.
Sorry it's been so long, college is creeping up on me so I've been having trouble trying to stay current with all of this stuff.
North Carolina, huh? I've only been to South Carolina, and I loved it. Something about those civil war-era cities really draw me in. I think it's because of all of the ghosts and creepy history.
Your blog and pics are FANTASTIC. They have such FEELING! (I'm not sure how else to describe it). I love logging on to see if you have anything new posted. Thanks for sharing!
look at that powder blue sky.....i crib about the heat and humidity in the coastal places , but I think I'm gonna miss Florida, if and when i leave this place.....
Great shots Anna. The seagull reminds me of a t-shirt I saw one time. It had bird doo-doo printed all over it and said ---- seagulls! You can fill in the blanks.
Good stuff. I love the Mercer Pier one best for some reason. That's the kind of unreal, crisp (as in clear, not cold) views we get down here a lot. Sometimes it gets hazy and I'm so used to bright, intense sun that even a sunny hazy day bums me out.
This image was taken in April 2008. I was at a photo session in Kenbridge, Virginia on a farm. As I walked through this gate, I noticed this picturesque shot. One of my favorites to this day and I have never posted it on the blog before now.

You won't know what hit you until it's too late.
