My iTunes: Numb by Linkin Park
WOW...this has been awhile. My apologies. Hopefully it's like riding a bike! :)
I have really missed posting and I am hoping there are still a few of you out there checking to see if I am here. Craziness can't begin to explain the events of the last few weeks but things are good and I am getting settled back into life. I am looking forward to sharing more in depth soon. Thanks so much for the encouraging words, prayers and well wishes...I have yearned to be back here and sharing.
I snapped this shot in Italy. I saw this woman several times during our short stay. She was probably out first thing in the morning and then going home last. Anyhow...I took this from quite far away so I would not disturb her or make her feel uncomfortable. I am always drawn to these shots because there is no posing. It is just life...as it unfolds in front of you.
I feel to privileged to be able to witness life through my lens.

Anna, this is a wonderful shot! I have missed your posts and comments! I have been out of touch myself since last Friday because we hosted a Japanese student for 5 days. It was an amazing experience for my family as well as for our guest.
I love your people photos the best because you are able to capture life as it is unfolding, allowing us to take it all in as well. This one is stunning Anna.
And Anna, we are privileged to view your world with you. This is such a poignant shot, and I like it in sepia.
P.S. Welcome back - just as I am leaving for 5-6 days!

See, Anna...we're all still here.
It's an amazing shot. The shadow play and the empotion in her body language make for a very moving image.
It truly is a beautiful thing when you can capture life without actually having to make it ourselves...like in photoshop and such other programs. Pure beauty isn't it?
Cool lighting in this one.
Very powerful photo, nicely done, this is my first time here.
this has a wonderful timeless quality. it lifts me, reminds me of my grandma who used to kneel or sit quiet to pray...the light evokes a beautifully simplicity
