Project Black. Take Four.

Looking Up for Black
June 2008

My iTunes:  To Be Love by David Glenn

This shot was taken in Durango at the train station.  I mean, who doesn't love a lantern?  When we lived in Europe I as always enjoying finding new lights.  They are all so different!

I need to be clear about Mr. Linky...please sign up ONLY ONCE.  You just add the URL to your main page and people will always see your latest addition to the project.  If you have signed below more than once you may see that one (or more) of your names are taken off.  Thanks for trying to do this right....it's very time consuming to go to each individual post if you are up more than once!  Thanks for your help and thanks to those of you who have emailed me or contacted me when you realized what to do!

Everyone still having fun???

Anna, I found a Black that even has your name on it. ;)

I really appreciate these Projects. I regret that I missed out on all the earlier ones. This is a great learning experience for me. Maybe someday, I can work my way up to your level. Well, at least close...

Hello Anna,

I found my way in from JC's blog and wanted to get in on the fun. Hope there's room for one more?

Love your photos!

I love this photo!
This is so dear to my heart. My Dad collected these for many years before his death. I have a couple he gave me (brown) and my Mom still has his hanging in her garage.

I didn't think I'd like black - but I'm loving it!

Great looking shot. I knew it was a matter of time before we saw you looking up. I on the other hand couldn't get much lower. Literally speaking, not figuratively. Once again you had a great find for black.

This is fantastic. I am in love with old lanterns and oil lamps.

AND, I did a looking up photo for #4, too!

Anna, what will come after black, project invisible?
The creativity of the participants is amazing, it's hard to find something original after looking at so many great pictures!

Just posted my first take...

Love the perspective. I never used to look up much...until that creepy scene in Aliens. Now I'm always looking up. It's surprising how many cool things you discover when you're watching out for aliens.

My latest project black pic just flew into view in as I was sitting in my truck, staring at the Colorado mountains, sipping iced tea, and contemplating the meaning of life while listening to Samuel Barber's Adagio for Strings.

Fun project; thanks a lot.

Great shot, there is so much character in old lanterns if you just look for it, as you certainly have.

May I make a suggestion about the Mr. Linkie for next month? I think it would be easier for people to follow if you posted a new linkie each day, just for that day's posts. If you've got the free account it will only display the most recent, but everyone will still be able to open and view the previous days' links just by clicking on it. Each day's would also be shorter this way, just with the people participating that day, so no need for you to go through and try and sort out multiple listings :).

Just my 2 cents, ignore them if they don't work for you.

Neat lantern, especially if it really lit... and yes, having fun, of course!

Love your color projects, and definitely still having fun! This one in particular has been somewhat difficult for me, which makes it even more interesting!

We both posted lanterns this time.... Unintentionally. That's pretty funny. It's some kind of "anna" sixth sense.

Fun shot! I like the angle. I'm still a couple behind, having only posted my second take. But I'm enjoying the projects and viewing the variety of photos. Thanks! :D

El gato estaba en el sillón, durmiendo, con la cabeza para abajo como siempre, en esa posición que me hace pensar que sabe lo que es una anteflexión y que apoya su cabeza contra el suelo para estirar su columna.

Yes, still having fun! And having a hard time keeping up with everyone's posts. I want to see them all!

Lanterns are lovable indeed. I like your angle on this shot. Adds a unique perspective.
