My iTunes: Somewhere Only We Know by Keane
This hardly ever happens in London, the home of 8 million people...a clear and sunny afternoon, I go to the tube stop....and it's essentially empty! It must have been my lucky day! A perfect picture taking opportunity had dropped right in my lap. I really love it when that happens! So here they are...I hope you like them.
Hope you are well wherever you are in this world!

I love them!
I knew you would! :)
Anna,
Sorry i haven't responded to your email. No excuse. My MIL said she met you. Cool. I know I need to start blogging. I can feel it. I have photos of my house and stuff. I miss you all. LOVED the tube photos. Beautiful and you are right, odd to find it so lonely. Harrow-on-the-Hill? Love, kimiko
yes! i love taking shots of trains/train stations. its just so urban feeling! Oh, and unfortunately, it wasnt miami I was in haha.
Excellent, as usual, and I know it is odd to find it so barren of people.
Beautiful shots. I love that they are devoid on passersby. That seems to ruin things somehow. This was a great opportunity!
Have I ever told you...you rock?
Looks like scenes from one of those disaster movies after everyone has evacuated. This was probably a once in a lifetime opportunity. You were wise to take advantage of it!
Those are great. Some might have wondered if the rapture had taken place and they were left behind. LOL
Great photos. The "all's quiet" looks so peaceful and serine
Aha! Now that top pic is my favorite over here in a while. Very nice, as is the second one.
What is it about train stations? I think because they're so foreign to me (no pun intended).
wow!!!! totally deserted....It happens in India when a cricket match final is on....:)))
love the bird's eye view......"looking to the left" is like i have seen it before here on your blog
Great shots as usual! Good thing you always have a camera with you.
What do you shoot with...???
These literally took my breath away. I was impressed...and then I blew them up and saw the detail....wow.
Hi dear,
Love to be here..great picture..
Take care
Superb Anna, no one there!!!
I love the sepia effect!! Those are great shots. I took a similar photo of the elevated subway here and I'll post it one day. It's not as nice as these though!
that's amazing...a sort of Marie Celeste of tube stations. How rare is this???
Love the bird's eye view one especially. Good stuff.
I agree with John on how abandoned this looks. I'm a big fan of post-apocalyptic books and this would fit in perfect as an illustration.
Anna,
This pic's are great!
I like the sepia-colour.
JoAnn
