My iTunes: Find Me Tonight by Everyday Sunday
So many images....so little time!
It always happens when visitors come here...my world seems more real when I am walking through it with people that I love. Sometimes being so far away I can feel a bit disconnected with the life I once had and the lives of those people who were woven in with my own. Thankfully, so much comes flooding back as soon as I see familiar faces on the soil over here. it is wonderful to be with people that you can just pick up with like no time has passed at all. We have spent our days laughing until I have been literally crying and recalling fun times and talking about the future. It has been a blast so far and it isn't over yet...
As we walked through Notting Hill, I took advantage of all the lovely shops by shooting whatever had interest to me. Here are just a few....the top image has to be my favorite. The last few times I have wandered this street, this frog has been here displayed waiting to be brought home by a discerning customer. Obviously, he hasn't found a home just yet. I just like it...it is fun. The second shot is self explanatory....I love cameras and I wish that I could have taken each of them with me and done a whole lot more with them. Do any of you see one that you might have had? The last shot reminds me of these last few months of homeschooling and the relief I have that our year has come to an end. The placement tests have been given, the kids did great and are on to the next grade! YAY! Time sure does fly!
I hope that you all enjoy these images! By the way, there are lots more where these came from and I am looking forward to sharing them with you all! Take care and have a great week!

Good stuff here. It's interesting to see a place with such a famous name from the eyes of someone who walks around in it without Hollywood shoes.
Our downtown features various painted frogs, all from the same mold, similar to Chicago's cows -- except much smaller.
I've always wanted to post a collection of images of them, but each time we're downtown we have little Ben, who still requires just enough management to keep me from concentrating my efforts enough to do a project justice.
Maybe some day. You've inspired me!
liked the last image a lot, Anna.....and u too have a great week!!!
You DO realize that I collect frogs, don't you? (hint, hint). I am just kidding; I am sure he is way out of my price range!
Judy....I am SURE he is out of MINE! :)
I've always wanted one of those standing serving things... Very cute capture. :)
I would love to visit a camera store like that!
Glad to know you are enjoying your time. Love the frog, too!
You're welcome. :)
Have a good summer!
Don't worry, I've been extremely busy as well (as you can see I am far behind on my photo of the day, I have the pictures, but I have yet to post them).
Your photography is still as beautiful as ever, and I'd like you to know that whenever I need to go to a "happy place" I tend to head straight to your blog!
glad to hear from you again!

Great shots, as always. Love the frog! Congrats on the success with homeschooling!
Interesting images Anna!
Notting Hill, I don't know why I used to think it did not have anything interesting there, but you are proving me wrong!
Great shots Anna. Glad the visit is going well.
Love the shelves of cameras. That Nikon on the very top-left sure has a lot of hard mile on it's odometer.
Great cameras, they seemed to stay the same for years and now they are different every five minutes.
I think that could be said about most things in modern life though...
Cheers Mark
12:02 am - It's your birthday, it's your birthday. Go, go, go Anna. Woohoo!
Love the regal frog. He is absolute serendipity.
Good times with good friends are so precious.
Happy Birthday Anna.
That frog just makes you....happy!
Wonderful shots that really capture the flavour of the area.
