My iTunes: The Very End by Derek Webb
This is going to a be short tonight because I am exhausted. I thought you all might like this shot. I was relaxing on a blanket in the park and glanced over and saw this scene. As I sat and watched while trying not to be intrusive, I wondered what these women were saying to one another...their stories, their laughter, their lives. I carefully took this picture always aware that I am in public and don't want to cross a line.
Have a good day where you are!

A really thought provoking shot. get some rest girl!
Hi Anna.
Love this pic. I often wonder the same things especially when I see girlfriends in a park chatting intimately.
Hope the rest is what you needed, and you'll be up and at it with zip!
take care.
What a great shot: the womens' clothing & the use of B&W gives it a vintage photo look to me.
I like it :)
Love it!
Makes you want to move closer and see what language their speaking. It's a beautiful, showing a private moment at the park. Love...
That's a great shot... very evocative.
Mike
very well done, anna!
hope you get a good sleep tonight and wake up refreshed!
oh....and i noticed that even you profile pic, the "self-portrait" is off center. hmmm...... :)
that's a great photo.
oh no... so much I missed the last couple of days... I have not been able to post comments as often as I would like too, and was reading the previous posts, I love your off center pictures, heheeh. Take care.
Oh, a question, do you drink diet coke as much as we coffee lovers drink coffee? Just wondering. I have several cups (small ones) a day. :-)
Are you going to become a street photographer now??? LOL!
Anna, great shot. But I have a hard time with the relaxing comment. That camera eye is always going! I don't think it relaxes. Take care and I hope you rested well.
it's always heartening to see an all-women grp sharing a quiet moment.......beautiful shot and Black and white makes it more powerful, i think.have a good night's sleep.:)
Great candid shot Anna. I tried to post from the hospital yesterday while I waited for Larry to have his minor surgery but their computer was so slow. I managed to read everything but was not able to get to the comment screen.
Love the bicycle shots and the ones of your children. LOL at John, that is your trademark!!!! Hehehe. Sounds like you had a great time in Newcastle.
I also wanted to visit John's blog which I will do shortly but I couldnt get to it yesterday on that hospital computer.
Hope you are rested this morning. (((((Hugs))))))

I love this candid shot. Rest well and keep on shooting such great pictures.
Probably my favorite shot of yours thus far (as of the time I've been following your blog).
Just great, and funny that you and I both posted pictures of strangers from behind on the same day.
WOW. I miss you! Life has been...weird...and crazy...you know :)
I should get the "Worst Blogger" award. :) I do hope to start up on that thing again SOON.
I miss looking at your photos every day. I LOVE them. I hope you are well my dear friend :) You should be getting an email update from me soon!
Having just read a book about Muslims, in which the hejab is talked about a lot, I find this one fascinating. I love the use of B&W here, Anna.
The photograph is very attractive, summons, besides seems me attractive the respect that there is behind this release
Thanks for all your comments on this shot. I woke up this morning with all these wonderful messages from my friends and felt so encouraged by each one of you...
Have a wonderful day.
:)
Lovely image!
Loved this. I'd like to know what they were discussing!
That has a "babushka" look to it, Anna.
I would love to chat the afternoon away with 2 best buds on a park bench! Great shot.
I really need to check in here more often. There are so many delights every time I do.

I guess it is an individual thing. Some might talk together, some might use the time to simply sit and reflect... no words necessary.
