My iTunes: Hope to Carry On (live version) by Caedmon's Call
This post is for a friend. A dear friend...
"I look up to the mountains; does my strength come from the mountains? No, my strength comes from God, who made heaven, and earth, and the mountains."
Psalm 121:1
I snapped this at the train station as I wandered up through the tunnel. Looking at it, I am reminded of journeys that we are all on in this life and how I am in desperate need of a Savior to make it through each second. He is my light in the darkness...my hope in despair.
My strength when I am weak.
I miss you and I'm sorry we are so far apart these days...
hopefully we can see eachother soon.

That's beautiful Anna. And my favorite psalm. Hope your friend can find the strength she needs right now in our Savior.
Great use of leading lines. Maybe you could burn out the light area at the top center of the frame so all attention goes to the opening at the top of the stairs. I like the tones too.
This is great Anna. Wonderful verse to go with it.
Beautiful photo.
I hope you get to see your friend soon.
love the pic, anna...walking to the Light. amazing.
Wow...this one almost startled me. Very nice. And your comments hit home. Thank you for sharing that verse.
I really hope that it all turns out fine ....and u get to see each other soon.
That light makes me want to walk up those stairs!
You've inspired me to pull a similarly-themed image out of my Shanghai archives. I've always loved the way stairs that emerge from the underground can fill with light.
Yet another great capture, supported by equally great words.
Great post, Anna.
...I can see Peter puttin away his sword.. ;)
This is a great post Anna.

That is lovely and the photo aptly depicts a journey. I love the lines in it :)
Anna, the picture is breathtaking and the words, well, they touched my heart. Your friend is in my prayers and I hope you are able to see her soon. Love, Mom
Captured perfectly! Certainly drew me in. Thanks for diving head-first into your surroundings. We have recently transplanted and the adjustment really caught me off guard. Your blog is encouraging to me and has me looking at my new world through different eyes. Keep posting!
A beautiful illustration of emerging into light; hope your friend is ok x
