I am getting into a VERY bad habit of posting too late at night!
Last week I was out of town visiting a friend and ended up having some photography work. This is why you may have noticed I am am a night owl these days! It was a lot of fun and I am missing my friends and family a lot already. It was good to come home even though it may be a few days before I am settled back into things around here.

You and me both, Anna! I keep saying I'm going to be asleep before midnight (or at least before 12:30), but here it is almost 1:30...
I was just looking through old photos from London and found the ones from your goodbye party. They made me smile. I thought I looked bad then after all that crying, but then I happened to glance in the mirror... I don't think that pain, narcotics, lack of sleep, allergies, and not showering make a very photogenic combination...
About a year ago I merged my life with that of a research scientist who described his life as boring and predictable. He said he was afraid his lifestyle wouldn't provide enough stimulus for me. I am still waiting for a boring part so I can get a little sleep. It isn't so much his job as his jazz trumpet.
So, where is this lovely pond?Could I spread a blanket nearby and catch some zzzzzzs?

Something I've started doing if I think I'm going to be busy is use Blogger Draft, and set the posting time to early the next morning. That way I cheat a little bit on the next day because I actually posted it earlier, when I had time the night before.

It looks like glass. The lilly pads even appear fragile. That is a GREAT photo :)
