Project Yellow. Take Nine.

Yellow Engine
April 2008

My iTunes: Always Where I Need To Be by The Kooks

Greetings all! I hope you are having a great weekend! Don't they always go by way too fast? I sure think so. We were on vacation last week for Spring Break and I am just trying to get settled back at home and get my bearings!

Back to the post....here's a shot from our day in Pensacola watching the Blue Angels. Lovely yellow isn't it? So shiny! It makes me smile.

I have been thinking about my Project and what I will do is post my last Project Yellow (otherwise known as PY) Tuesday night. For all you die hards (Robin and Michelle...and many others) feel free to keep it up, I will come look...I promise. I am thoroughly enjoying all of your posts!

Although I am breaking for a few days, I WILL be doing my regular posting each day. Next Sunday night I will be starting a new project....color TBA. :) Why am I not telling you the color now? Because the fun of it is having to go out and find it on the spot during your everyday life....at least that is what I think! It makes you have to carry your camera every where you go...just like I do. I hope that sounds good for everyone and remember that you can take part for one day or as long as it goes on....

Remember if you haven't signed up below to do so that way we can see all the PY participants!

Have a wonderful week everyone!

love the yellow..

This afternoon while we were at a bounce party, my eye and lens kept going to the yellow. Then we went to the park....more yellow!

I can't wait to see the next color challenge.

I'm the new kid on the block! I found this through Secret Agent Mama, Michelle Lane ( I think?) and I could not resist this, so I decided to join in! This is fun!

Love the high gloss yellow! Can't wait to see what color is next!

You can't beat Navy yellow. I bet the plane it was on was an SNJ trainer. My dad used to fly them out of Pensacola in the Second World War.

Great angle on the plane! Sorry my link was bad! I meant photograpHy instead of photograpy. Yeah, sometimes I blog tired. I'm all on board now. Is there a way I can delete my double link?

Nice that you caught the glare showing the smooth texture of the metal - so shiny - makes me just want to rub it :)

Aren't those Blue Angels fantastic, Anna? Thanks for visiting my Project Yellow post - Take 5. I might continue with yellow until you announce your next color... I have loved this! :D

Once again, Anna, another good find of yellow. I love how the color shines through.

By the response, this has been a wonderful project for so many of us. It's really getting me out there to use my camera so much more. Up until a few weeks ago, I think it had been months since I did any consistent shooting. Once again, thanks for hosting this series.

My next in the series is up.

How can an engine be "pretty"? I dunno, but you've managed to convey that very thing. I wonder if it works as well as it looks.

I'm GLAD you're not giving us advance notice, lol. That keeps the "game" fresh & fun.

Today's inclusions for PY were inspired by you and others (though I did take them quite a while back). CLICK HERE for liquid gold :).

The photo is great! But, y'know what I LOVE about the Blue Angels? That sound.

If I could capture that sound. If I could stand outside when I'm stressed and hear that sound. I absolutely LOVE the sound of a jet flyby.

I took some yellow shots yesterday, and I hope to get time to post them later.

I assumed that everyone would know that I posted more because Robin and I are addicted and obsessed. But just in case that's not clear--here are my offerings for today.

And I am SO looking forward to the next project. I'll probably post one more than take a break as I'll be out of town until Sunday. :) Great timing!

Here's today's

Interesting idea! I suppose when I don't find anything I am readily inspired to photograph, I could always come and see what the color of the day is!!

Thanks for your visit to my blog btw.

Very nice, Anna. As always!

Vry cool image. This is probably tipping my geek cards a bit, but I completely see this as part of a Naboo ship from Star Wars. If nothing else, Mark will know what I'm talking about ;)

I'm looking forward to the next color. I finishd up my yellow shots today and am prepared to give another theme a try.

Anna, I am a late-comer who will continue to photograph yellow until you announce the new color. I have picked this up as an activity to do with my preschooler. I just posted our first "yellow" photo today. Thanks for the great idea!!

I seriously love this!

I will continue to do the PYC!

Please know that I will try my best to float around and visit and comment. I am a mother of four and I home school, so please forgive me if I can't make it around as often. I will give it my best shot though. No pun intended!

HI Anna! I can tell you are a professional! Great shot!
I just wanted to comment on your Mr. Linky and I hope you will not take this as critism but as me trying to help which is all I'm trying to do. If you are going to use Mr. Linky it would be nice if you put a new one up each day. If you will note people are signing more than once and also we may be going to blogs that aren't participating each day. That takes a lot of time and defeats the purpose of having Mr. Linky. I will not be participating in the yellow every day but I'm anxious to see the next color and start in on that. Thanks and hope this helps.

I'll jump back on the bandwagon starting tomorrow! I thought this was done, and hadn't checked my RSS Feed to see that you were continuing it.

I think this is very cool. :)

My new yellow post is up. This has been a great project and I'm looking forward to the next color project too.

Wow, Anna...can you believe so many have jumped on this bandwagon? How FUN!

I've got a new post up; this time I'm inviting you in my home :) (hope you can make it).

Kinda sad to see this end...I've got a last favorite post I'll upload tomorrow :).
