Project Yellow. Take Eight.

Seaside
April 2008

My iTunes: There Is A Reason by Caedmon's Call

Hope you all are having a fun filled "yellow" weekend! I know I am!

I have been away from my computer all day so it looks like I have a lot of checking up to do on all your Project Yellow posts. I will get there to each of you I promise. Please make sure to check out my friend Tim...he did indeed start his blog today so check it out here. I am sure he will love to hear from ya'll!

I got this shot when I was looking up again...a habit of mine! We were in Seaside, Florida and it is just so beautiful and quaint. It is where I was when I snapped the pretty umbrellas from yesterdays post as well. This is the town where The Truman Show was filmed. In the film the town is called Seahaven. Anyhow...you can imagine how glad I was to see yellow homes! My favorite these days! Hehehe. And that red trim makes the yellow really pop!

I am off to check out your posts! Please make sure if you are particpating in the the Project ( "PY" as Mark likes to call it) that you sign up below with Mr. Linky. You only have to sign up once and then we can find each other quickly to see your additions!

Have a wonderful Sunday!

I love these little windows. There's just something picturesque and quaint about them.

And I love how you're always looking up (in more ways than one) = ) I think you look up as often as I look closely.

the red trim is a neat addition..........Florida is one place that can't think in monochrome and i liked it this way :)

Another great image Anna. And I agree with Moi, I love the red to offset the yellow. Keep looking up.

Any hints on the next theme yet? I'd like to plan ahead and keep my eyes open.

I added another post as well. Check out my PY#4.

Nice post. Came over from Tom's.

This Sunday morning it is all of 37 degrees here in SW Ohio where Tecumseh once ran on paths made by the wood buffalo.

We did get warm enough for a couple of days for daffodils and some crocus to pop up but they popped down again.

Anna: What a beautiful dormer. That would have been hard to paint. I used to do them when I painted with my Uncle.

I'm not sure I like the combo yellow and red. I seen a chimmey yesterday that was red on a yellow house. I wasn't able to get a photo of it, but may go back. I will have a yellow photo to post tomorrow.

I love the "surprise" of the red against the yellow! Isn't it amazing what you can find when you simply look up...or down? Very nice!

I got one more post done of yellow...I have had computer problems and not getting to check out all the posts. I got to check out all the posts the other day but not the past couple of days. I loved that one of yours looking up at the yellow umbrellas.

I absolutely love these windows. The color is so bright and cheery.

Anna, that home exudes cheer! It's drenched in sunshine and you've captured its feel perfectly. You have ME rethinking what color we should paint our exterior when it's time for that! Red trim? How bold! But...it adds a bit of the unexpected, and in that, beckons the observer.

I have a few new shots up and I have to credit YOU for reminding me these would be perfect additions (some of the few I already had but have never posted). You might say they're a cup (or two) of "cheer" :).

So glad your Mr. Linky is working--congrats if that was your first time using it! It helps make it convenient for blog hopping (which I haven't been able to do much over the weekend).

Thanks for extending PY--OBVIOUSLY, I'm in great company with this little yellow obsession.

Much peace, much joy :).
