My iTunes: I Still Miss You by Hawk Nelson

Hi everyone!

There has been some arm twisting going on today. I had written yesterday tomorrow would be my last installment of Project Yellow. Apparently there are many of you that are not done yet so I will be continuing it into next week....so keep hunting yellow and I will too! And for those of you who haven't started yet...jump in at anytime. You can do one day or follow along as long as you want.

I'm going to give a shout out to Michelle. She has come up with a creative way to label her Project Yellow images that I think you will all enjoy. I LOVE IT! Check it out here , tell her hello and make sure you read her wonderfully transparent profile!

I am totally digging this shot I got today. I hope you all like it as well as my seventh installment in the Project. It screams that summer is coming!

Below, I have posted a contribution from a guest photographer. Tim is a good friend of mine and he has been emailing me his images for Project Yellow since he doesn't blog. I liked the one below so much that I decided to post it for all of you. I love the off center framing which is something I am somewhat known for here in Blogland. I have been trying to get him to start a blog for months so maybe this will help him go ahead and start. If you like this shot then let him know in the comments....if you don't....well, keep it to yourself! Hehehe.

See ya'll tomorrow!

Oh how did I know this might happen??? Thinking it would end tomorrow I put up all my "yellow" shots at once! Well since they were all archive shots, that now means I have to go out and search like the rest of the participants here. It just so happens I'm going shooting tomorrow so I'll pay extra attention to yellow.

I love the umbrellas. Bring on the summer!

I enjoyed your friends shot too. The blur is almost disturbing in it. It's not sharp enough see detail, and not blurred enough to keep all my attention on the thesaurus. So since I'm talking so much about it, I guess that means he did a good job, huh? :)

I think this is my favorite Project: Yellow shot yet! Way to go, Anna!

I LOVE this shot. It's my favorite one of all the yellows you've done. Ah summer... how many more days until you'll actually be here?!

My speech actually went pretty well.

I haven't gotten my grade back yet...but my teacher said it was the best speech I had given in that class.

Nice One! Yellow is happy, but this is a Happy Shot!
Love your friend's shot too - maybe all of us together can get him to join the blog world.
I like Mr.Linky too - that was a great idea.

Ah. The umbrellas. The sun. My banana rum and pineapple juice. If only we could be there instead of here right now.

Thank you for the mention! I had no idea that first note would get attention and now it just seems like it has to be there in a Flat Stanley kind of way. LOL

And what does that red, red rose mean?

G'day from Australia,

Thanks for the great comment and the invitation to check out Project Yellow.

I love a good challenge, especially if it involves using my camera.

Does the photograh have to be posted on a specific day?

Can you drop me a comment on my blog with your email address? If you want, I'll delete it off my blog as soon as I get it.

Thanks for getting in touch.

Cheers

David

Love your umbrella shot--I've got a similar one, but not in yellow. And it WAS when I was in a bikini, lying underneath lovin' life & livin' large ;).

I'm kinda like Robert, I've been doublin' up pictures trying to get them in. That being said, I haven't posted ALL of them (can you believe I've taken so many??), so I'll spread 'em out over the next several days.

The coolest thing about this? I'M LEARNING FROM YOU AND OTHERS! As a photographer neophyte, THAT is a benefit I didn't anticipate--THANKS!

:)

I especially love Michelle's way of labeling her pics. I really got a kick out of it and sitting here still smiling!

Thank you for sharing!

Anna, I did resign up on Mr. Linky. It's right now! Is there a way to remove the wrong one?

First off I will say that I love mr. linky and he is a great way of keeping up with such as this. Also like your photo and your friend's. Thank you for doing this! As the creater of Sky Watch I know what a job it can be.

Your bananas look great! This reminded me of the banana song but I think it's also called the name song. I'll be singing it all day!

I've never participated in this sort of project before, but I just stumbled my way here and I just happen to have a bunch of yellow-y photos waiting to be posted, so ... here I go.

This sounds like fun--will you be doing a "group project" again?
They're a nice way to see differing viewpoints on a theme.

Those umbrellas could shield us from the rainy dreary weather we are having, no sunshine to speak of here.:)

My latest yellow photo is up and it is my favorite so far.

Any ideas on the next color, cause you are going to continue this, right? Right? Right? :P

Hey Anna, I have three more for today :). I think Michelle is right...it IS an obsession!!

Great umbrella shot. Tell your buddy that the dictionary shot is great, too. Perfect for this project -- blurred background to show depth but minimize distraction, not centered (why do so many people think that centering the subject is always desirable? Is it because they don't know how to focus-lock and/or exposure-lock their camera and then turn it a little bit?).

Anna, Your photos are amazing...my nEnglish is so poor to express my feelings I got from your page...I'm a big fan of you here in Norther Europe:)

Hi Anna, so glad you are continuing for a few more days. I found a some more yellow shots so I put another one up today.

I love the balance of this shot. I'm not going to try to decide if I like this one better than the rope...too tough a call.

I think I've definately been on too many blogs in the past couple days. I came back to see if I'd left you a comment and found that not only did I leave you one but I left one I intended for someone else also. I don't know how I did that!

I guess I'll have to break down and post something yellow....LOL. I am still waiting for Project Green!! (or purple).

I like the Thesaurus too!

Very cool Webster's. This yellow kick could get addictive.

I thought I could resist. I'm weak. Now I can't stop.

Mine is up. Come visit.
