Spring Flowers
April 2008

My iTunes: Fidelity by Regina Spektor

Hi all! Once again I am posting WAY too late...sorry about that!

I was out of town and I am finally back home. I shot this while I was away. These flowers are from the same time I shot the barn from yesterday's post. I was captivated by the beautiful greens and purples which are two of my favorite colors when they are put together.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Oh, lovely! Purple irises are so beautiful and so short-lived, it seems as though we have only a moment to enjoy them before they are gone for another year.

Purple Irises are among my favorites, too. Not just because I also adore purple with green, but because they used to surround my grandmother's house every Spring and to think of them is to remember her.

Bella fiori, Anna! My favorite combination too, along with grens and blues.

Anna: They certainly are pretty. It's so nice to see the colors of Spring after the grey of Winter.

Love those colors together, too! My old bedroom was done in those colors! (My current bedroom is boring white, but I "wall-papered" two of the walls with black and white prints of my pictures.)

I have yet to post for today, but will do so soon!

Hi Anna,
When I first saw the photo I thought it looked like a wedding bouquet.
This is lovely!

This is great. I agree, the colors together look wonderful. I've been doing LOTS of flower shots lately. I guess it's the spring thing!

Looking forward to the new theme (or color or ???) tomorrow.

those are really pretty, still no Iris's around our place, lucky to get a couple of daffodiles.
Hope you had a good time while you were gone
