Project Yellow. Take Four.

Yellow Suit
April 2008

My iTunes: The Weather by 10,000 Maniacs

I can't resist. This is Jack and his new yellow swim suit. A very fitting shot for this week in particular! Don't you think?

I want to say thanks again for all the comments, emails and participation for this project. I am glad you all are being challenged creatively...I am as well. It is good for me to focus on certain things and it can bring out artistic tendencies when you least expect it. One of the benefits from this is you realize what is right around you. Pretty cool to find unique and interesting things right under your nose.

Take care!

Cool shot. I would totally wear those.

I finally joined the Project Yellow fray, a little behind but nonetheless taking part. I managed to snap four photos in the past two days that I could use, and you know me -- I have a hard time not just posting them all at once!

Ha! I'm with Mark...I've found more subjects for this project than I imagined or intended.

And just when I thought I was done? these guys appeared in my line of vision.

NOW, I'm "done" with my series...I'll try to pace myself in posting them!

Love this suit, btw--it doesn't look like EVERY other one I've seen, it's quite an unexpected color for some reason. Yellow has GOT to be the cheeriest color in the spectrum!

Cool pair of swim shorts!

Anna, when I first saw you mention Project Yellow I thought ooh, a hard color to find! Was I wrong! Driving down the road I had to go with the obvious "right under your nose" thing today. Again, thanks for the invite and most of all the fun.

Anna: Your angles do it again. Great shot.
I did a post last night of yellow. A typical engineer in the box post.

I did the project yellow today...it is one of my favorite colors. So I am glad you thought of this and I seen it mentioned on a couple other blogs.

I did my close crop of my flower before I seen yours and thought no one will ever believe I didn't copy! I may try to do one more day of yellow...I need to at least gather my yellow fabrics together and get a shot of them.

Pretty spiffy shorts!

I discovered your blog today and have to say your photos are excellent! Your projects sound like so much fun so I decided to play along. My first photo is up!

Hi Anna,

I was encouraged by Robin (the pensieve one) to link one of my pictures to your project. Rather than create a new post, I'm linking my Wordless Wednesday post. My "yellow" entry is the last in the series.

This is a great idea. I'm enjoying seeing your work and that of the other participants. I hope you continue this.

Go to my WW post to see my Project Yellow entry.

I would say Project Yellow is a resounding success! I think you have brought life back into a lot of blogs which were waining from the looooonnnnngggg winter!

Thanks Anna for putting some spark back into mine! Cool shorts but I would probably not look too pretty in them.

Take care,
