Precious Time

As I sit and look at this picture it's as if I am looking in a mirror. I can't believe that is MY daughter sitting there. She looks just like I did at the tender age of 13. Of course she is much more fashionable than I ever was but that is OK. Where did the time go? Wasn't it yesterday when I brought her home?

She has loved & cared for me all day since I am still under the weather. We did manage to get out for some lunch at a tea and sandwich place just down the road. She had her favorite hot chocolate while I had my usual diet coke. It was fun to be with her as we laughed and talked. While we were playing around with the camera together I snapped this of her. She got one of me when I looked up while reading the menu. She was VERY quick. You can tell that I am not one for being in front of the camera. She said that I could put her picture on my blog if I also posted the one she took. It isn't everyday that we get this kind of time together so it will be treasured for years to come...

I happen to know that both of you are much better looking than either of these two photos! And Anna, you two are the most photogenic people I know! It's good to see you both.

You both are lovely you ladies. I have known Sadie since she was 6 months old, wow time flies. Anna, I hope you are feeling better! Shaun and I look at this blog almost daily, you do a great job and need to start a photo studio or something. Sorry we have not posted comments. Tell the family we said howdy!

Anna these pictures are great!

Your daughter is absolutely beautiful and the photo she took of you made me smile. Your blog continues to surprise me.

Thanks for letting us in on the special time you two had together. Just think, you will never have the hours of this particular day to spend again and you spent it so wisely by being with your daughter...well done my friend :)

I know what you mean. I rarely get times like that with my oldest daughter.

Looks like a fun time.

Look at you with all these comments! Good for you, Anna.

To answer your question: I got the pics in email from a friend, and he got it the same way. I am sure it is making the rounds of the planet!

Hi Anna, It's a wonderful way to journal through life with a photo a day. I love all forms of documentation but the photo is my favorite. I let mine collect before posting most of mine. Sometimes I lose track I have so many!

There is such a preciousness to this photo.

Anna! Hi! Yea, I've sort of dropped off the face of Blog planet for about a week - I FINALLY did a new post. I LOVE these photos! Sadie really is adorable and lovely - and you're right - very fashionable! I'm loving the jacket with the striped shirt peaking out at the cuffs :)
Oh, and I failed to get my little treat to Matt & Jenn, so I'm just going to mail it. ;) Love!

Sadie is cute as the dickens, Anna. I hope that the homeschooling thing goes smoothly. I understand how that can change the dynamics of your relationship. It's good to see that Sadie's quick enough to capture you in a picture. You need to have moments like your lunch together to be captured even if you weren't feeling good, Anna.
